Do you have an ambitious, environmentally-friendly industrial project? It could be funded up to 30%… but be careful, you have until May 31, 2025 to submit your application!
Powerful financing leverage for your “green” investments
If you’re an industrial company based in a “Territoire d’industrie” and you’re planning a project directly linked to the ecological transition, the Green Fund could be your best card to play in 2025.
This scheme finances investment projects worth a minimum of €400,000, with a rate of aid of 10% up to 30%. The industrial projects targeted by this aid must concern:
- Bioeconomy for the development of bio-based products (hemp, flax, wool, wood, straw, marine bioeconomy, chemicals, etc.);
- New sustainable forms of mobility (bicycles, cargo bikes, intermediate vehicles, etc.);
- Food sovereignty and relocation of agri-food chains (local production processing units, e.g. linked to a territorial food project, etc.), taking into account the challenges of sustainable agriculture or agroecology;
- Relocation of everyday consumer goods (clothing, furniture, etc.) with a process that is significantly more environmentally friendly than standard;
- Industrial production contributing to the recycling of materials or raw materials, to the circular economy and reuse, or to the recovery of waste and co-products (energy transition equipment, building renovation, etc.);
- Projects that are part of a diversification strategy for fragile regions whose economy is impacted by climate change (particularly mountain regions).
Eligible expenditure focused on industrial production
The Green Fund targets as yet uncommitted expenditure with a direct impact on environmental performance. This includes :
- production equipment,
- industrialization expenses,
- energy and environmental improvements to production tools,
- project-related consultancy services (diagnostics, ecological engineering, etc.),
- project-related software, patents or licenses.
🚫 Expenditure on personnel, land acquisition or regulatory compliance is excluded.
Any concrete examples? They exist, and they work!
In 2024, three Haute-Savoie companies supported by the CCI were winners (100% success rate). They include :
- A precision mechanics company specializing in components for green energies.
- An engineering firm creating a workshop for electric motors and soft mobility.
- A bar turner developing an innovative, more robust and durable bicycle hub.
What’s next? Submit your application!
To apply, you need to be pre-approved by your local community. And above all: the project must start at the end of 2025 / beginning of 2026.
